Questions Without Answers
Why are there so many questions about God that no one seems to have the answers
to?
Simply stated, we must go to the Source. If you want to learn about God, you ask God to teach you. God
has given us His Word and His Spirit; both of which help us to know and understand God and His desire for
us.
Those who diligently seek to know God will be richly rewarded:
"I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me." --Proverbs 8:17
There is much about God that our finite minds cannot fully comprehend and we will have to wait
until we meet Him face to face to understand completely.
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts."
--Isaiah 55:8-9
We must leave our questions with Him, resting in the assurance that He loves us perfectly and rules
with perfect justice:
"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are
called according to his purpose." --Romans 8:28
In heaven we will have perfect understanding, as stated in 1 Corinthians 13:12:
"For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall understand
fully, even as I have been fully understood."
